Healthcare has always been about more than healthcare.
I’ve spent over 25 years working at the point where clinical care, independence and everyday life meet.
I began in optometry in the UK, becoming an Independent Prescribing Optometrist and practice owner. Today, in the US, my work focuses increasingly on a much bigger question:
how do we help people live well for longer?

Today as Founder of Always Best Care Henderson, her work has broadened from clinical excellence to the wider questions of healthy aging: how healthcare, caregiving, and community can help people remain independent for longer.
